Rock in Rio 2006
Around 5,000 news items about Rock in Rio were counted in the Portuguese media in the period between October 1, 2005 and June 30, 2006, according to figures from MediaMonitor.

This number gave the event a level of visibility, which through advertising would imply an investment of 25 million euros, at book prices. 700 journalists were accredited and the event was seen on television by around 700 million people in 60 countries.

Lift was the consultancy responsible for the entire media communication concept and strategy in the 12-month run up to the event, as well as press relations at the event itself, journalist accreditation logistics and management of the largest press office ever set up at a non-sporting event in Portugal.
