Lecturer at ISLA – Post-Graduate Certificate in Image, Protocol and Event Management and at INP/ISG for the post graduate certificate in Public Relations and Communications Management. Deputy Chairman of the Board of APECOM since 2002.
Studied four years of the Economic Course at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Financial journalist/editor for eight years (1988/96), successively at Semanário Económico, Diário Económico (Founder), Público (Founder), Valor (Founder) and Semanário.
Founding partner and manager of Mediafin (Jornal de Negócios and Negócios.pt), Citimédia (virtual-games.com), M3G, Lda (NetJobs.pt) and Mediatema.
Vast experience in Corporate Communications, Financial Communications and Crisis Management with over 150 clients in the last 12 years. He is Practice Leader of Lift Corporate and Lift Financial.
Cláudia Nogueira

A Public Relations and Advertising graduate from INP and post graduate of Political and Social Marketing from ISCTE / INDEG, she has been at Lift since 1996. Previously she was responsible for the development and implementation of the Marketing Department of and NGO. She was also part of the Media Department of an advertising agency in Curitiba, in Brazil’s Paraná state. She has been an Executive Director at Lift since 2002, taking on the practice leadership of Lift Knowledge.
Ana Teresa Sebastião

With a degree in Communication Sciences by Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, she joined Lift in 2000. Promoted to Communication Director since 2005, she currently manages the institutional communication of clients in the IT, financial, law, and consummer electronics sectors. Experience in corporate communication, reputation management and citizenship programs, as well as marketing communication and media training.
Catarina Amorim
Communications Director

Graduate of Communication Sciences, from Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas, of Lisbon’s Universidade Nova. She was an Account Manager at NR Hill & Knowlton. She joined Lift in 1998, and has worked with clients from the economy, tourism and information technologies sectors since then. She has been a communications director at Lift since August 2000, and has been responsible for large projects such as Rock in Rio Lisboa and Creamfields. She is practice leader of Lift Emotion.
José Machado
Communications Director

Graduate of Corporate Communication, from Escola Superior de Comunicação Social, at Lisbon’s Instituto Politécnico. Post-graduate degree in Communication and Health from Lisbon’s Universidade Lusíada. He joined the Lift team in 2003, working since then with clients from the economy, tourism and health sectors. Between 2005 and 2007 he was a Public Affairs director at Merck Sharp & Dohme as a communications consultant at Lift. In June 2007 he took on the role of communications director and practice leader of Lift Healthcare.
Marta Marreiros

A graduate of Communication Sciences from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. She was an intern at NR Hill & Knowlton, having coordinated the Media/Research Department.
She joined the Bairro Alto team in 1998, taking on the role of Communications Director in January 2002. She currently manages corporate, crisis and client product communications in the agro-food, insurance, information technologies, and other sectors. She is the practice leader of Lift Brands
Marta Menéres
Communications Director
With the Group since 2007
She is a graduate of Textile Design from Accademia di Costume e di Moda in Rome. She then did a masters in Marketing at PCTS, Philadelphia, USA.
She has been a communications and public relations consultant for the Benetton Group on an international level for over nine years, and is responsible for the communications of the Benetton Group in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Portugal. She was previously a Fashion Buyer for Avon Fashions of Avon Cosmetics in Portugal, a role she undertook for three years.
With vast experience in communication for fashion, culture and lifestyle, she had an in-depth knowledge of consumer marketing and communication.
She is fluent in English and Italian, and has basic knowledge of French and Spanish. She joined Grupo Bairro Alto with the challenge of developing Lift Lifestyle, in January 2007; since then she has taken on the leadership of this practice area.
Miguel Albano

He began his professional career as the manager of Canal de Negócios in 1997, due to his tremendous passion for financial markets and news. He has professional experience in management and technology consulting, and more recently has carried out activities in the area of Business Continuity.
He became a member of the Lift team at the beginning of 2007. He is the practice leader for Lift Digital.
Paula Ramos

A graduate of Public Relations and Advertising from INP. She did an internship as a copywriter with the creative team at BBDO Portugal. She joined the Lift team in 1997, and has been a Communications Director since June 2003. Experienced in institutional communication (reputation management, citizenship programs, and crisis management), financial communication (media relations), marketing communication (product launch and marketing events), media training and crisis training.
She currently manages client corporate communications in the areas of new technologies, technological, financial and tourism consulting.
